Ironclad Company is now capable of handling all of your wearplate and bucket repair needs. Whether it is sheets of AR500 or custom rolled bucket liners we are capable of taking care of this. Our main line of plate is HARDOX 450, but grades in 400 and 500HB steel is readily available. We can also drill and machine plate for custom bolt on applications.

CHROMIUM CARBIDE WEARPLATE

Chromium carbide overlay plate is manufactured by hardfacing a steel base plate with abrasion-resistant material using arc welding procedures. This results an overlay plate that can be welded, formed and cut and used in extremely abrasive and high impact applications.  Different grades of this are available ranging from high impact/ low abrasion to low impact/ extreme abrasion. The type of plating is known to outlast quality grades of AR500 steel 10:1.
