TRANSCUBE DOT REGULATIONS
TRANSCUBE DOT REGULATIONS
EXEMPTION FROM HAZARDOUS MATERIAL REGULATION
HOW?
If a TRANSCUBE fuel tank is transported on the same flatbed or trailer of the equipment that it will be refueling, it will not be subject to HMR. The tank and equipment needs to be on the same flatbed or on a trailer being transported by the same vehicle. See figures 1 through 3 for various examples of the TRANSCUBE being transported with the equipment being refueled.
WHAT TANKS?
This exemption only applies to our fully transportable TRANSCUBE TCG AND TCT lines of fuel tanks. These tanks were designed and approved to be legally transported full of fuel on road. With proper venting and internal baffles, these product lines provide safe and reliable diesel or gasoline fuel transportation. Capacities range from 132 gallons up to 5,000 gallons.
WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT?
The equipment could be generators, pumps, and virtually any type of fuel-powered construction equipment. As long as, the TRANSCUBE is transported on a flatbed or trailer with the piece of machinery that it will be fueling – it will meet the requirement of this exemption. See figures 1 through 3 for examples of applicable equipment.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
